COURSE OBJECTIVE
To build capacity for design and conduct health systems research, communicate evidence, analyze and apply health systems research evidence for better policy and decision making Target Audience Researchers, policy makers, policy analysts, civil society, academia, and media practitioners
Who Qualifies to apply Individuals who already work in research institutions, ministries of health and other ministries, international organizations, NGOs, Civil society, Graduate students, etc.
Applicants should have a minimum of a bachelor degree in a health related field or a bachelors degree in any othe field as long as they are engaged in health systems and health policy relate d work.

Facilitators
Facilitators are a multidisciplinary team from Makerere University (Kampala), Johns Hopkins
University (USA), Moi University, Eldoret (Kenya), Muhimbili University (Tanzania), Jimma
University (Ethiopia), University of Nairobi (Kenya), Rwanda, and DRC, and Institute of
Development Studies, Sussex (UK)
Fees & how to apply
1. The course has been subsidized by support from DFID and other partners. Course
facilitation, meals, accommodation will be provided to participants during
their time of stay
2. However, applicants are expected to meet their costs of travel to Makerere University
Kampala (Venue).
3. Prospective participants should write an application letter and include supporting
documents for consideration.
4. The deadline for the applications is September 15, 2016.
